Miami Shores Country Club, hole 13. Photo submitted by TimGavrichGP on 03/25/2019
The course has a few interesting holes
Greens were in good shape fast
Unfortunately pace of play was terribly slow
Played as a twosome, no flow
Good thing 3 groups in front of us decided to quit otherwise it would have been 6 hours to play
Everyone we encountered were very pleasant to deal with which made for our first time playing the course memorable
3 Star
Staff rude one day and then a freindly one the next.
The course has potential if the condition was there as it had some fun short holes.
The greens were slightly sanded but were so fast it was like tournament speed and brilliant to play on.
Bar/restaurant was nice however the food was just ok and the service was just ok.
Staff is fantastic, course is ok, maybe above average.
OK, I want to first start with the positives. The staff there are extremely nice, helpful, and really cool. They do a great job.
I just don't think the price I paid versus the value of the course was right. I could see paying maybe $35 for this course, but over $70?? It would need to be that step above, compared to other courses in the Southern Florida area. And it was not, I wouldn't say it was bad, just ok slightly above average.
I did get there where they had so much sand on the greens, like they had recently really small punched/aerated the greens and then put sand on them. The good thing is the sand didn't affect the lines or the speed. The tee boxes and fairways were really great shape, but the rough was very rough, with lots of dirt patches and hard to hit from ground in many areas.
I don't think I will be back, unless I can get a much better price to play that matches the course.
Fun course, slow pace
Seems like they might overpack the tee-times and attract novice golfers that don’t keep a traditional pace. Had to wait 30 minutes after our original tee time to get started due to course delays and lack of carts. Often waiting for players ahead of us taking 8-12 shots per hole. I don’t have issue with novice players however it can be challenging when they lead to a 5.5-6 hour round.
Raini play
The course is beatifull, but the greens were very slow because they were with sand
Great track, great shape
Who is a good time at Miami Shores. The course is in very very good condition right now. Highly recommend
Miami Shores G&CC - A GEM AMONGST MIAMI DADE and BROWARD GOLF COURSES
Haven't played Miami Shores for quite some time. Course is in great condition, staff is awesome, very helpful. And the Clubhouse cuisine is better than ever! Try the Ahi Tuna salad...the best!
To considerate
Is impossible play whit in the course have a championship
Slow and expensive
Slow and expensive for what it is. Nice course but pace and price compared to courses in the area are disappointing
good course, nice layout
good fairways, some par 4s are rather easy and short, some are challenging
