Hollywood Beach Golf & Country Club offers a championship course where you can enjoy a private and secluded setting free of homes anywhere near the fairways, tees, or greens. Donald Ross originally designed the golf course in 1924. It has a classic layout that has withstood the test of time to become one of the area's most popular public courses. Seasoned golfers will find that the course is not the most challenging but it is good for a casual round that will still keep you on your toes. The course is tight, requiring a fair amount of accuracy. There are not many hazards but there are some and they are very strategically placed. The layout is player friendly enough to accommodate a range of skill levels and the affordable rates make Hollywood Beach Golf & Country Club doubly appealing.

Came to play the course this morning and was only playing as a twosome. Was standing on the first tee waiting to tee off when out of no where the cart guy/water filler or whoever the heck he is decides to yell "let's go, you can't hit it that far". So one, nobody needs that when your coming out to enjoy a nice day on the course. Secondly, whether the group in front were 300 yards out or not, who is anyone to know or assume someone can't hit it that far. I have been playing golf a long time and know what slow play is and that was not it. The general pace of play was slow there anyway so it's makes no sense to hit, ride up to the ball and still wait on the group in front who are still in the fairway etc. Just overall really ruined the day for my wife and I. I would never play here again and not recommend it to anyone. You just lost a customer today, nice job, you can thank the water boy.
