Greynolds Golf Course
About
Formerly the site of a rock quarry, the par-36, nine-hole Greynolds Golf Course now shares the landscape with a hardwood hammock and mangrove forest that is one of the most well protected natural areas in northern Miami. The carefully preserved surroundings support an abundance of wildlife including several species of birds and rare, colorful butterflies. The golf course is part of Greynolds Park, which offers scenic camping grounds and numerous nature trails in addition to the golf course. There are also excellent opportunities for kayaking and canoeing thanks to the Oleta River, which runs alongside the east side of the park. Opened in 1964, the golf course has a traditional layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. More advanced players can enjoy a quick round while less experienced golfers can get in some good practice.

Greynolds........you need improvement!
On entering Greynolds, I noticed picnic tables that looked like 25 years old. no place for golfers to sit comfortably while waiting for their Tee Time. The day was 85F and there was NO WATER! I had the maintenance man go to the back kitchen to look in the fridge, nothing. The water order was 1 case, the Gatorades were several cases and beer too. Everyone needs water on the golf course. How is it that Greynolds didn't have any on a Friday at noon?!!!!
I think this course needs a lot of TLC! Hope it gets it soon!
Staff was very rude and un friendly. Do not recommend for visitors. This is not how we treat outsiders.
Low cost municipal course
If you are going out to work on your game and get some exercise on a budget, then this course is fine. I saw lots of complaints in the reviews and thought my experience was not going to be good, however, I was pleasantly surprised to find the course was in reasonably good shape and playable. Sure there were some bad spots on the fairways and the greens were slower but my wife and I still enjoyed playing there and wouldn’t rule out playing there again.
Good value for the price, great training course
Fairways are wide, limited water areas. It was a nice course to work on a swing change. Paired with some great players. Fun and relaxing day.
Happy
Fairways are good along with the greens. We will go again.
What a waste of time
I showed up 15 mins early to my 11am tee time to find a group of 15-20 people waiting in the lobby. When I asked if the people had played already, the attendant said there were 5-7 tee times behind schedule. What a waste of time to even show up because they offered NOTHING in the form of compensation or an explanation. Again, what a waste of time.
All is well at Greynolds
The greens are in the best shape they’ve been in a while ..it’s become very popular and it’s crowded but no problems with moods or tempers..it’s a great value for your money, especially on Golf Now, hot deals!
Just dont
This place is one broken down mess. They don't take care of anything, that includes the bathroom where things were out of order to the bag stands that were completely broken. A hammer and a piece of wood is not to expensive but apparently it is for this place.
Fairways were ugly, the greens ok but that's not good enough. Try someplace else.
Greynolds review
Greens were good. Tee boxes were poor to fair. Little grass on the fairways. Layout of the course was good.
A 9 holes course in good shape....no starter so a little confusion at the start of your game.
Overall review
Have played this course many times and it has not changed much over the years.
A very friendly course to get in 9 holes of regulation golf and not consume your entire day .
👍
Lost 1 hour in time waiting
There was a line-up and backup for about 45 minutes to start the game and lost at least another 20 minutes or so while playing.
Cutting in Line
Throughout the nine holes, people were constantly jutting into the hole ahead , which made for disruptive play and lack of rytyhm.
