Granada Golf Club is one of Miami's most popular nine-hole courses. Beginners enjoy it for good practice and more advanced golfers come for a quick round. It is player-friendly enough for all ages and skill levels. The spacious layout offers plenty of room for error. There is not any water on the golf course and only very few sand traps. The fairways are straight and generous but the greens have subtle undulations that present a few challenges. If you are a seasoned player seeking a formidable test, you won't find it with this course but you will find an enjoyable and fast round that offers excellent practice. The gentle layout makes it approachable but another reason playing at Granada G.C. is so appealing is the affordable price.

Terrible staff!

Avoid this golf course like the plague. The guy who works there is incredibly rude and sounds like he hates his life and wants to take it out on the customers. They need you to call 4 days in advance to make a tee-time reservation (yes, you read that right, call. No online reservation system, they still live in the 80s). Their phones are always busy (read: lazy city employees who don't ever pick up). When they do pick up, no tee-times are EVER available. No walk-ins allowed, not even for one person, even if the course is wide open! Such a pity, because the course is actually nice. But you can't ever play here, so look elsewhere. Luckily, there are plenty of courses in Miami, you don't have to waste your money on these losers. These guys couldn't run a golf course and make money if you handed cash to them on a silver platter.

New Covid rules makes it playing there a big problem

As per the information given by the pro shop. They would prefer to loose a complete foursome revenue than to give it to a single standby in the far player.

They are always booked and always have many available spaces but will not allow other people to get it.

Terrible, will not play there ever again.

Nice 9 hole track

For being a municipal golf course, it is very well maintained, to be expected from Coral Gables I guess. This course is very scenic, lined up by gorgeous and ginormous Banyan trees. The greens are in excellent shape as are the fairways. There's a bit of St Augustine rough, which I'm not a fan of, but it didn't bother me here. Overall, the track is not overly challenging which is great for an amateur golfer like me. The only thing is that I wish this was an 18-hole course.

Open and Friendly course

In Granada, my son learned to play, my wife learned to play and many of my friends hone their games every week in Granada. In the center of Coral Gables, Granada is a nine hole beauty with wide fairways, undulating greens and firm fairways giving you a decent run on your drives. Most of the greens run from back to front but not all are too inclined, calculating the speed of the greens is crucial to make a birdie. We play there at least once a week and they have seasons memberships that pays for themselves. Friendly fairways and difficult greens make Granada a real challenge for a nine hole walk anytime.

Bang for you Buck

I play this course regularly during the week because of how close it is, and the deals it has for quarters. This course has been around for a while, but until recentily when the Biltmore took over, it wasnt much fun. Now, they keep the course much nicer given the traffic. Its also a great course to work on your game, and not get to frustrated, as there is no water, and its hard to lose a ball. Best 9 hole I have played at!

9 Hole Gem!

Thoroughly enjoyed playing this little course. It has a solid, sporty layout that features three Par 3's, three Par 4's and three Par 5's (although two of them play more like long Par 4's). It's in a beautiful setting and has a historic feel to it. It was on the short side (3,000 yards from the tips), has no water, minimal bunkering and the fairways were generous but never once did it feel like a "pitch and putt". Greens were small and contoured which called for a lot of short-game creativity. It was in really good condition. I enjoyed it so much, I looped it twice! Not everyday do you get to play a Donald Ross course for $20! Granada is truly a fun track!
