Country Club of Miami - West
About
The Country Club of Miami, located near residential areas, boasts two courses, the East Course and the West Course. Both golf courses at the club have seen many famous players including Jackie Gleason, Bob Hope, and Jack Nicklaus. The West Course features rolling greens as well as many strategically placed bunkers. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The course is very well maintained and provides a good game for players of any skill level. Conveniently, the golf club has a large pitting, putting, and chipping area where golfers can work on their short game and there is also a grass driving range.

Valentine's Day Golf
Best way to celebrate friendship in one of Miami's best golf in Miami.
Fair
Rent clubs came w/o a pitch in one bag. The greens are just fair
This coarse has some interesting holes with the water.
The greens were very slow. I just couldn't get the ball to holes no matter how hard I putted it.
Good value-will play again
Overall course was in nice shape-I will play again during my stay here in Miami
Okay if there's no where else to play
Nice people, friendly atmosphere....driving range is pretty bad. Course really isn't in good shape. Pace of play was pretty slow the rangers were non existent.
This course is good.
Worthwhile playing. reasonable price and well designed maintained course.
Crowded
Playing was good, however we did get bogged down as there was no one working the course once you leave the starter. We had a tee time (Thru You) but it meant nothing. They had us stuck behind a huge group of retirees from Canada that were super slow. We finally convinced the starter to allow to play the other course as we would have been there 6+ hours. They just let people go to the tee box whenever they get there instead of sticking to actual tee times.
Greens need work
The overall conditions on the East Course are nice but there is some wear on he greens. I would recommend this course for anybody, any handicap for an enjoyable round
Friendly course!!!
Very friendly course. Easy to play, and in fair condition!!!
Terrible Conditions
Weeeds, bare patches on both fairway and greens, on some grens more sand than grass. I can see how it was once a good, challenging course, but now it's just awful.
Country Club of Miami
Great golf value ! Robert Trent Jones design. Select the correct tees The west course was a PGA stop back in the 60 s. Difficult but fair. The east course is slightly easier but no slouch. These courses are not for new golfers. Plenty of water on both courses. The west course has some blind water hazards The east is more obvious. Great value ! Must play !
It was ok.
I do recommend this course but manage your expectations, It's just a playable golf course.
two challenging courses for any level golfer
tee boxes on both courses needs repair, hard to find a level spot on the tee boxes. greens on the west in terrible condition caused from the birds digging for bugs. East course greens are much better but a little slow, this could be caused from recent aeration. overall very challenging courses.
Nice lay out but
I played this course for the first time. The greens are not in a perfect shape but it was fast enough. The design of the course is great, a lot of water and the sand trap are place at the right position. Maybe if I can play this course at fall it should be in a better shape.
course easy, but greens are tricky
Love this course, but did not have a cart girl on the course. This would help players when it is hot.
East Course gave us a great day of golf
This course time slot for each player gave us time to play not be rushed with players breathing down your back wanting you to push on.
I enjoyed the course
The greens had just been punched so the putting surface was awful this first week of May. In a few weeks the greens will be great.
Since with the great GN 2 for one deal, the two of played for 23 bucks a person and the fast pace of play, I have no complaints.
I plan on playing CC of Miami again soon.
